New Atlas Features in 2024

Volkswagen introduces a stylish makeover for the 2025 Atlas, accompanied by a plethora of new standard features. The previous 276-hp V-6 engine option is replaced by a 269-hp turbocharged inline-four powertrain, maintaining the impressive 5000-pound towing capacity. An eight-speed transmission with front-wheel drive remains standard, while all-wheel drive remains available.

Inside the cabin, the refreshed Atlas receives a range of upscale trim additions, enhancing its overall refinement. New standard features include a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and an upgraded 12.0-inch infotainment screen, a significant improvement from the previous 8.0-inch unit. Volkswagen also introduces the Atlas Peak Edition appearance package, offering exclusive Avocado Green (shown above) and Pure Gray paint colors, along with a rugged, outdoorsy aesthetic.
